2025 City Awake: Volunteer Day | Winter Kits for Pine Street Inn

For over 50 years, Pine Street Inn has been a cornerstone in the fight to end homelessness across Greater Boston. Through permanent housing, emergency services, workforce development, and more, they support over 2,100 individuals every single day. Yet, far too many people still face the harsh reality of living on the streets.

As Pine Street Inn reminds us, “When people lose their homes, they often lose their connection to community.” This is your chance to help rebuild that connection.

Join us for a hands-on volunteer event where we’ll assemble winter care kits filled with essentials like hats, gloves, toiletries, and other cold-weather necessities for Pine Street Inn guests. You’ll also hear directly from Pine Street Inn staff about their powerful work to end homelessness and how your efforts make a real difference.
