Job Description
 The Assistant Program Manager is responsible for supporting the Program Manager with the overall management and operation of the Parent Aide and Supervised Visitation program. The Assistant Program Manager will support managing client intake/referrals, case assignments, and assisting in the program financial oversight. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist the Program Manager with the referrals for client services with collateral agencies. 
Assist the Program Manager with the assignment of client services to Family Support staff. 
Assist the Program Manager with the management and monitoring of Family Support staff daily work calendar. 
Assist the Program Manager in the daily oversight, supervision, and ongoing performance feedback of Family Support staff.  
Maintain case load of 8-10 clients. 
Develop age-appropriate curriculum to enhance parenting skills, increase healthy communication skills, and foster positive family dynamics. 
Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality 
Demonstrate a willingness to work cooperatively with colleagues.  
Work is performed as part of a team in an office setting, in person, via phone calls, will include travel. 
Assist the Program Manager in the monthly billing for client services. 

Assist the Program Manager in the record keeping, ensuring compliance with online data system.  
Assist the Family Support staff with case management and resource services for clients.  
Attend monthly meetings with the Department of Children and Families. 
Assist with staffing coverage and visitations as needed. 
Assist Program Manager with the hiring, training, and with yearly written performance evaluation of Family Support staff. 
Report concerns including staff performance to the Program Manager. 
Attendance at internal and external meetings and training as required. 
Other duties as required. 

QUALIFICATIONS  

A bachelor's degree in human services, Social Work, Counseling, or another related field. 
Previous supervisory experience of three years supervising in a human service environment. 
Experience working with young children, parents of all ages and home-based counseling with case management services. 
Experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse population 
Experience with case review and management. 
Microsoft Office Suite, technology skills, other software experience required 
Strong organizational skills.  
Experience working and collaborating in a multicultural environment 
Strong interpersonal observation and communication skills. 
Bilingual English/Spanish, English Haitian Creole preferred.  
A valid driver’s license with access to reliable transportation and insurance coverage that meets program requirements for travel.
